lamentable this took me so long to answer, ive been pretty busy and havent had time to sit down down and draw some examples until now!
I will start out saying that ive never formally studied hair, then all this will simply be my cognition on stylized hair and how i depict information technology!

In stylized art/anime especially, hair tends to poof out from the caput simply that doesn't mean the head isn't there. You still need to follow the basic shape of the caput and consider how pilus falls over it.

I'm sorry this is such a simplistic tutorial and for the rough drawings, I'd like to become over hair in motility and hair when its pulled dorsum/up or curly only I feel like those demand to exist in a separate mail service ;v; maybe i'll do those at a later date if anyone wants to see those~
